Inspection

Inspection puts an impartial pair of eyes where you cannot be. Our inspectors check quantity, quality, condition, packaging and documentation on your behalf at factories, warehouses, construction sites, ports and terminals. You receive a clear report, with photographs, before you commit to payment, shipment or acceptance.

Inspection services

We inspect at the point in the supply chain where a problem is cheapest to fix. That may be a pre-production check of materials, an inspection during manufacture, a final random inspection before packing or a supervision of loading and discharge.

For plant and infrastructure we carry out statutory and voluntary inspections of pressure equipment, lifting gear, storage tanks, pipelines and structures, either as a one-off assessment or on a recurring schedule.

  • Pre-shipment and final random inspection of consumer and industrial goods
  • Supervision of loading, discharge, weighing and sampling of bulk cargo
  • Supplier and factory audits against your technical requirements
  • In-service inspection of pressure equipment, lifting equipment and structures
  • Construction and welding inspection, including non-destructive testing

Our inspectors

Inspectors are qualified in the discipline they inspect and are subject to our impartiality rules, which prohibit any financial or personal interest in the goods or the parties involved. Assignments are rotated, and every report is reviewed before it is released.

Because our people are local to the markets we serve, we can often be on site within a short notice period and report in the language your team works in.

What you receive

An inspection report records the scope, the sampling plan, what was found and whether it meets the agreed acceptance criteria. Photographic evidence is included as standard. Where a shipment fails, the report identifies the defects so that corrective action can be agreed quickly with the supplier.

Why choose us

What sets our inspection services apart.

Impartial by design

Our inspectors have no commercial interest in the goods or the transaction. Their only obligation is to report accurately.

Where and when you need us

Local teams can attend factories, sites and ports at short notice, reducing delays to production and shipment.

Evidence, not opinion

Reports are built on agreed acceptance criteria, defined sampling plans and photographic records, so findings are hard to dispute.
